Vision and Mission
"Changing Lives Through Jesus Christ"
Our mission statement reflects a realization that without Christ, we would be left to our own devices to bring meaning and purpose to our lives. Many of us have found out the hard way that following our own path leads to brokenness and pain, for us and the ones we love. We have found that following Jesus has changed our lives from despair to hope, from addiction to freedom, from pain to healing, from confusion to great purpose, and from chaos to peace.
Our vision is to be a church that invites each other and the world to an intimate relationship with God, filled with the Holy Spirit, and to the peace, health and wholeness of Christ.
Matthew 22:9 - Go to the street corners and invite to the banquet anyone you find.' So the servants went out into the streets and gathered all the people they could find, both good and bad, and the wedding hall was filled with guests.
Acts 2:37 - Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call."
I Thessalonians 5:23 - May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Our vision is to be a church that loves each other deeply from the heart, building each other up in love and faith as we build God’s kingdom through the power of Christ.
Ephesians 4:16 - From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
I Peter 1:22 - Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from the heart.
Jude 1:20 - But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit.
Our vision is to be a church that lives a transformed life in Christ, that is hopeful in God’s power, and that is daily renewed by the Spirit of God.
Ephesians 2:4 - But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ.
2 Corinthians 3:18 - And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
Ephesians 1:18 - I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe.
Colossians 3:10 - put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.
